ENERGY CONSERVATION PARTNERS CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

HAWTHORN WOODS, IL - OCTOBER 25, 2016 - Energy Conservation Partners LLC (Enco), an Illinois based energy consulting company, specializes in assisting client firms with energy reduction measures. On October 21st, Enco held a Partner Appreciation Event to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. Customers, vendors and other partners from Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois attended the event, while congratulations were sent from every corner of the U.S. and Canada.

"It's been a great 10 years," said Enco President Brad Cohen. "It's a thrill to run your own business, but to successfully run a business for a decade, it takes the willingness to forge mutually beneficial relationships with your business partners, and we have been fortunate enough to work with great customers and vendors. We are definitely looking forward to another 10 years and beyond."

Cohen went on to describe the many changes he has seen in energy conservation throughout his 25 years in the industry. Amongst the biggest challenges Enco has faced in its focus on steam savings has been the continuous decline in the price of natural gas. Lower natural gas prices have de-incentivized organizations from investing in energy savings initiatives. To overcome this obstacle, Enco has partnered as a Trade Ally with various gas provider rebate programs to assist end-users in obtaining rebates to mitigate project costs. In the past fiscal year, Enco's customers received over $400,000 from local utilities.

ENERGY CONSERVATION PARTNERS WORKS WITH THE DIOCESE OF GARY & SCHOOL CITY OF HAMMOND TO SAVE ENERGY

HAWTHORN WOODS, IL – December 15, 2014 - Energy Conservation Partners LLC (Enco), an Illinois based energy consulting company, specializes in assisting client firms with energy reduction measures. The company recently became an approved contractor for the Archdiocese of Chicago to assist parish churches and schools in enhancing energy conservation efforts while maximizing the rebates offered by the gas utilities.

"We’ve surveyed eight parishes in the past three months within the Archdiocese," says Enco President Brad Cohen, "and have identified significant energy saving opportunities within those facilities." Those savings include more than 60,000 Therms per year from steam trap repairs. The facilities are also receiving over $60,000 in rebate money from Peoples Gas, the natural gas delivery provider in the city of Chicago, to subsidize the surveys and the implementation of the steam trap repair program. By repairing or replacing failed open steam traps, the facilities' are estimated to reduce their boiler gas consumption by 7-10%.

In some of the parishes Enco also identified uninsulated steam pipes. At one church Insulation of the steam pipe was able to reduce boiler gas consumption an additional 5.9%.

ENERGY CONSERVATION PARTNERS WORK WITH THE CHICAGO ARCHIDIOCESE TO SAVE ENERGY

HAWTHORN WOODS, IL - January 16, 2016 - Energy Conservation Partners LLC (Enco), an Illinois based energy consulting company, specializes in assisting client firms with energy reduction measures. Working closely with NIPSCO's incentive program, Enco assisted the Diocese of Gary and School City of Hammond to reduce their energy consumption and capitalize on the natural gas incentives being offered in Northwest Indiana.

In the second half of 2015, says Enco President Brad Cohen, Enco repaired or replaced more than 750 steam traps in four parishes and three public schools. The steam trap projects are estimated to save our clients over 50,000 Therms of natural gas per year.

In addition to the energy savings, the Diocese received over $150,000 in incentives from NIPSCO while the Schools received over $93,000. Since Enco's mission is to help organizations reduce their energy consumption, it is especially fulfilling when we can help non-profits achieve energy reduction goals while having their projects significantly subsidized by the local utility, Cohen continued. These projects would not have been possible for many of the facilities without the nearly $250,000 in incentives we were able to leverage for our clients as a Trade Ally of the incentive program.

ENERGY CONSERVATION PARTNERS ASSISTS CHICAGO AREA CUSTOMERS IN RECEIVING OVER $150,000 IN UTILITY REBATES

HAWTHORN WOODS, IL – July 1, 2013 - Energy Conservation Partners LLC (Enco), an Illinois based energy consulting company, specializes in assisting client firms with energy reduction measures. As a trade ally with the Peoples Gas Rebate Program, Nicor Gas' Energy Efficiency Program and Ameren Illinois' ActOnEnergy Program, Enco has worked with diverse natural gas consumers to maximize their natural gas rebates in Illinois. Eligible rebates for Enco customers exceeded $150,000 in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013.

Enco's customers who have utilized the rebate programs include small businesses, hospitals, educational institutions and property managers. Significant savings were realized not only through the energy rebate programs, but also through reductions in the consumption of natural gas. This was accomplished by replacing failed steam traps and insulating steam pipes and fittings throughout client facilities. Complete steam trap replacement programs will typically reduce boiler gas consumption from 7 – 10% annually.

"Working with the utilities has turned out to be a great partnership", says Enco President Brad Cohen. "It seems counter-intuitive that the utilities would want to help customers reduce consumption, but through various mandates they have developed some great incentives, including the payment for steam system audits, that every end user should take advantage of. We are looking forward to assisting with even more rebates in the new program year."
